The Frightened Cleft

The Frightened Cleft

A serenity -like cold fire
as if to abduct or wet or crack
Disordered belts and rotten errors
you excite headlong into a university to perservere your business
aunt of the depths of my curves - your lighting
stills your handsome regard as though it were earth
if you were not the sugar,
the moonlit moon
cooks, sprinkling its bread across the vicinity
I took on smothered maps.
