Took a break from stories and such to put together a quick "slideshow" of beautiful women in sepia. I love sepia tone photography. It has a classic look to it. What do you think of the video?
I like to sketch. I like to paint. Recently I tried to teach myself how to draw and paint anime and had mixed results. I'm not great. Not totally bad, but not great. I should stick to poetry. Have you read my poem about cheeseburgers ? No? How about the one I wrote about drawing ? I have even dabbled in Haiku . Seriously, read my poems. If you do, I'll call you my best friend . well, if you want some more tips on drawing anime, I thought this video was a good tutorial on drawing an anime girl. At least an anime girl's face.
Your negative beliefs will be the biggest obstacle between you as well as your dreams. What we believe is basically based on the text messages with which we’ve been bombarded since we were extremely young. If you've never read Edgar Allan Poe, or at least haven't read his work since you had to back in high school, then you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of his works and give them a read. Poe was truly a master of his craft. I think a good book to pick up is Edgar Allan Poe: Complete Tales and Poems . You can get it here on Amazon . The Kindle version is only $1.19 at the time of this writing, making it a bargain. Some of the best poems and short stories he wrote are included here, including: Lenore To One in Paradise Fall of the House of Usher and of course, The Tell Tale Heart "Villains!" I shrieked, "dissemble no more! I admit the deed! --tear up the planks! here, here! --It is the beating of his hideous heart!" Love that ending!
