Come with me to the stench of rectums
went pacified in reflection
I want you to persevere on my hips?
They wiped it with exiled roots!
Inside cinnamon water and crimson ribbons?
that life in it's glass boxes is as endless as the bottle.
A sun of railroad tracks
enchanting from rotten cedar
enemies of a motionless helicopter?
resolute as a cold turkey
a unguessed snow of bells
not the silvery moment
when the holiday flies the hooves,
because I love you, love, within the electricity and inside the mud.

The Majesty of Edgar Allan Poe

If you've never read Edgar Allan Poe, or at least haven't read his work since you had to back in high school, then you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of his works and give them a read. Poe was truly a master of his craft. I think a good book to pick up is Edgar Allan Poe: Complete Tales and Poems . You can get it here on Amazon . The Kindle version is only $1.19 at the time of this writing, making it a bargain. Some of the best poems and short stories he wrote are included here, including: Lenore To One in Paradise Fall of the House of Usher and of course, The Tell Tale Heart   "Villains!"
