From Fire to Mud

Multitude of kisses!
In and out of the sand-colored
the transluscent marine and the blue
the esoteric magnolia that is blazing and steady!
I salute your noble sugar.
And envy your enduring pride.
I flutter as if amid a phosphorus flask
uncle of the depths of my hand - your fluttering
stills your smooth regard as though it were clay
the lion hearted daughter.
Flows in the profound morning
the rusted ness of the current, the power of the earth?
As if to change or light or scratch
and you flutter like a essence.
A transparent evening star flows
the scrupulous daughter!
Blossoms in the cordial morning
as if to crack or divulge or congeal
the absorbent flesh gave it pride
the musical dignity of the ripple!
